The first race of the day decided the winner of the Open Professional Group. The Slovenian Assilina team proved the best and won the first place, while the My Dream crew skilfully used the advantages of their boat to finish first in the race.
The first day of the eighteenth edition of the Easter Regatta was like some beautiful sailing fairy tale. The day started with the skippers meeting where the event organizer provided cake and Champaign, thus celebrating the 'coming-of-age' of the regatta
Twenty-eight sailboats were at the start of the 17th edition of the Easter Regatta, divided into three groups. A stormy north wind tramontane greeted the sailors gathered on the waterfront in Vodice, and due to weather forecast many were sceptical about today's race.
The first day of sailing at this year's Easter Regatta has not brought us the ideal weather conditions for sailing, but plenty of excitement, and announced nice and exciting matches in the remaining two days of the race.
This year, the Open Group boats were able to compete at the Regatta for the first time, thus the race saw 34 crews, divided into four groups.
Open l.: The domination of an extremely fast sailing boat Millenium 40 Vola Vola with Bojan Božić at the helm.
Open ll.: A series of twists and interesting duels ended with the victory of Mario Kundih on the 01 Express sailboat.
ORC l.: Karlo Kuret on the All 4 One wins by ‘an inch’ in the last race.
ORC l.: Krešimir Đakulović on the Mareus continues his winning streak while competing with other Beneteau 40.7 sailboats with similar excellent performances.
The 14th Easter Regatta was again held in Hvar, marked by strong competitive tensions and exciting duels between the very best crews in the Adriatic.

ANA - Adriatic Nautical Academy joined the organization of the race in 1998 featuring 45 sailboats
The first race was held in 1997. It was organized by PBZ Leasing and featured 14 sailboats.
